Payment: if you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase then Virtuemart and Sagepay captures you credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCS-DSS) to keep your data secure and safe. All direct payment gateway adhere to the standards as managed by the PCS Security Standards Council, which is a joint effor of brands like Visa, Mastercard, Amercian Express and Discover. PCS-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
Although no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we follow all PCS-DSS requirements and implement generally accepted industry standards.
