BLADDER BOTOX TO TREAT INCONTINENCE
Last month the NHS has approved botox injections to be offered as a possible treatment for urinary incontinence.
Botox can help control the muscular bladder wall and NICE says those with "overactive bladder syndrome" that has not responded to recommended lifestyle changes should be offered the injections. For more information see this recent BBC News article: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-24029518
