Cervical Cancer Week! (22th - 28th January)

Did you know that if you have cervical cancer you can also suffer from incontinence in particular stress incontinence (leaking urine when coughing or sneezing).  Not something any of us ladies want and in particular cervical cancer which can be prevented if you go for regular screening tests. Cervical cancer is the most common cancer for women over 35 years old.  Every day 3 women die from this disease however 75% of cervical cancers are prevented by regular smear tests. Almost half a million young women aged 25-29 did not attend cervical screening last year; however this Cervical Cancer Prevention Week aims to change this. Join us this Cervical Cancer Prevention Week (22th - 28th January) and share #SmearForSmear and your selfie to raise awareness of the importance of smear tests in preventing cervical cancer.  Also if you have not recently had a smear test then we recommend you book one in with your doctor asap. If you do suffer with stress incontinence then do take a look at our range of incontinence pants, pads and products on our Incontinence UK website.
