World Continence Week is an initiative of the
International Continence Society (ICS) and is being held this year from Monday 22nd to 28th June 2015. Both
Incontinence UK and
The Bladder & Bowel Foundation based in the UK support this initiative and would like to encourage our customers to take part.
This year, the
ICS asks that everyone participate in the Bladder Diary Day. The aim of
Bladder Diary Day is to collect thousands of Bladder Diaries from people all over the world. Complete your Bladder Diary and join in with the biggest study in the history of the International Continence Society.
The ICS also state:
“We will collect thousands of Bladder Diaries from people all over the world to establish what is ‘normal’ with regards to urinary continence. This will be a milestone in understanding bladder function which affects millions worldwide.”

Vision of World Continence Week
- Globally facilitate continence awareness and promotion to improve health, wellness and quality of life.
- Provide a reputable forum for those seeking information on Continence Promotion and therapies.
- Create a worldwide network of events and organisations that will be recognised as leading authorities of Continence and Bladder and Bowel Health information.
- Further establish Continence Awareness and promote a multi-disciplinary approach to treatment.
